Stir Fried Mongolian Beef and Green Onion recipe
1 lb. thinly sliced beef

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bunch green onions, cut in 1" lengths



"A"

1 tsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1/2 tsp. baking soda

2 Tbsp. dry sherry or white wine

2 Tbsp. cornstarch

2 Tbsp. cooking oil



"B"

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. black vinegar or plain rice vinegar

2 Tbsp. dry sherry or white wine

1/4 tsp. sugar

2 to 3 Tbsp. hot sesame chili oil

1/4 tsp. Chinese 5-spice powder



1. Marinate beef with mixture "A" for approx. 30 minutes.

2. Heat your wok and add 4 Tsp. cooking oil. Add garlic, then beef and stir fry until the beef is browned.

3. Add green onions and stir briefly. Add mixture "B" and continue stir frying until everything is hot and glazed with sauce. Serve with rice.
